Born and raised in Hay-on-Wye I have been involved in tourism and retail businesses all my life. I ran my family business for 15 years before selling my business to focus on Council work and family life. I am working as a Team Manager for the Co-op in Hay and have been seconded to Large stores Wales to look community engagement and social media. I have been a councillor since 2008 on Powys County Council and have held a number of positions including portfolio holder for Human Resources and Communications. This is my 3rd time on the BBNP, and in this time I have been able to gain a wide knowledge of the parks and the community that it serves. My hobbies are football, Golf and sport in general.
