Chair's Announcements

The Chair advised we are now in the pre-election period.

 

He welcomed Mr Gareth Jones as the new Director of Planning and Place who joined the Authority on 11th April 2022.

 

The Chair advised we are currently working on an update for the website.  He added this will encompass the Senior Management support currently being received, also the Senior Planning support involved.  He explained that the Validation support will continue in place to ease pressure on Officers, as the demand on them is high without the added phosphate issues to be overcome.

 

The Chair informed the Committee that he and the Deputy Chair had attended the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) meeting in Deganwy last week at which Mrs Helen Lucocq, Policy Manager, had made an excellent presentation.

 

Mr Stedman (Chair) stated today marks the final day serving the Authority for some members, he thanked them and wished them well in their future endeavours.

 

The Chair thanked Cllr Roderick for his support as Deputy Chair, Mr Alan Southerby, Mr Julian Edwards, Mrs Jane Pashley, Mrs Dani French for their assistance with committee process, all planners and staff for their work over his term as Chair of the PAROW committee.
