Apologies were received from Mr E Evans (Chair), Cllr M Jones (Deputy Chair), Cllr G Davies and Mr J Stedman.

 

In light of the absence of both Mr Evans and Cllr Jones Ms M Doel (Chair of the Authority) took the role of the Chair for this meeting.

Prior to the meeting the Chair had reminded Members of the training day scheduled on 15th September 2017 and also for the Members seminar which this Authority is hosting, advising them to contact Mrs J Gruffydd with attendance details.

 

She also offered her sincere condolences to Cllr G Davies whose father had passed away the evening before.

 

The Chair informed Members that the training scheduled for 2pm today would be held after this meeting as due to the light agenda it would be likely to be able to complete it by midday.

 

She also reminded Members that there is a full training day scheduled for the 18th September which involves both an external site visit and internal training session.

3.

To receive any declarations of interest from members relating to items on the agenda.  Members’ attention is drawn to the sheet attached to the attendance sheet and the need to record their declarations verbally and in writing, specifying the nature of the interest.

To authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority Planning, Access and Rights of Way Committee held on the 20th June 2017.

The Chairman was authorised to sign the Minutes of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority Planning, Access and Rights of Way Committee held on 18th July 2017 as a correct record.

 

It is to be noted that Cllr P Pritchard advised he had sent his apologies prior to the previous meeting.

 

The Chair also asked Members to note that the Agenda reads ‘To authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority Planning, Access and Rights of Way Committee held on the 20th June 2017’ should read ‘18th July 2017’ as the meeting held on 20th June was cancelled.
